Mankini-wearing Borat projected on Cardiff Castle walls

Sacha Baron Cohen, as his eccentric character Borat, has been projected onto Cardiff Castle in an advertisement for his upcoming ‘Subsequent Moviefilm’.

The Kazakh resident, wearing his “mankini”, was projected alongside the slogan “Wear Mask. Save Live” last night.

The film has found itself at the centre of the US Presidential Election after Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani was unwittingly caught out by the comedian in one scene.

The former New York Mayor tweeted yesterday to describe a video clip from the film appearing to show him with his hand down his trousers as a “complete fabrication”.

(1) The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.

At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.

He said he was tucking his shirt in after taking off recording equipment following an interview, and said at no point was he ever inappropriate.

The scene shows him being interviewed by an actress playing Borat’s daughter, who is reportedly posing as a TV journalist.

Rudy Giuliani said he called the police in July after “I realised it was a set up” and said the incident was “an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family”.

The sequel, titled Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, will be made available on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 23.
