Plaid Cymru leader pays tribute to the ‘true Queen’, following Senedd official opening
The leader of Plaid Cymru has paid tribute to the “true Queen” following the official opening the sixth Senedd term.
Adam Price MS shared a photo of him and his mum on social media, who he described as “the true Queen of our little family”.
Adam Price said: “Nice to change from my suit for official opening of 6th Senedd earlier, and even nicer to spend time with my mother- the true Queen of our little family! It was an honour to have you by my side.”
He was at the Senedd earlier today to meet the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II as part of his role as the leader of Plaid Cymru. It was the monarch’s first visit to Wales for five years. She was accompanied by Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Some regard the Queen like a God because they are brainwashed fawning brown-nosers without a backbone.
I totally admire Plaid Cymru’s Adam Price who unlike them hasn’t prostrated himself, tongue handling out, and followed sheep-like the masses by showing blind loyality & deference to an unelected passive Dictator where he gallantly chose his mother as the most important person above any Germanic Queen. Da iawn Adam!

Sad really. I’ve nothing against the Queen or Prince Charles as individuals but the monarchy’s influence over Wales has to end. Upon independence, we can choose whether we want the Queen as head of state or not but whichever way we vote she has to be heavily taxed on the land and property she owns in Wales.
1. Listen to the people of Wales who vote for you and want to support you and not the British immigrants who will never support you and never vote for you. Speak to the people who have left and ask them “how have we failed you?”. The not so “veiled” condemnation of QE11 by Adam Price seems at odds with the above statement. People that have voted for Plaid whether they are “British Immigrants” or Welsh born and bred ,would have expected that support to be reciprocated? Adam Price obviously has little time for the Queen . Is that because she is not Welsh? His mother is English. My father in law was Welsh born and bred ,a proud Welshman. Why denigrate anyone because of where they were born? If you knew anything about Carmarthen Council and the actions of it’s Plaid Leader you “might” possibly understand my comments?
