Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker has taken to social media to post a series of snaps taken around Wales.

The star who is best known for playing Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland is filming Netflix movie Havoc alongside Tom Hardy, who has also been spotted out and about around the south of Wales.

Both were spotted filming at Brangwyn Hall in Swansea last week.

“Enjoying time in the beautiful Wales before going back to set,” Forest Whitaker posted on social media.

Forest Whitaker was announced to co-star in Havoc along with Hardy on March 22. The details of Whitaker’s character remain under wraps.

According to Netflix, the story is set after a drug deal gone wrong, when a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

It isn’t yet clear whether the film will be set in Wales or is only being filmed there. The film is written and directed by Gareth Evans.
