Cardiff striker Kieffer Moore is also out of Wales’ squad after being identified as a close contact to Stoke City goalkeeper Adam Davies.

Both will now self-isolate for 10 days and therefore miss the team’s upcoming three matches.

Tom King has been called up to the squad as a replacement and will travel to Helsinki with the squad this afternoon.

The FAW and Public Health Wales said they were working to establish whether there are any close contacts within the squad and an update will be provided in due course.

Adam Davies is the latest in a long list of withdrawals for Wales. Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has withdrawn injured from the Wales squad, alongside Joe Rodon, David Brooks, Neco Williams and George Thomas.

Brandon Cooper, Ethan Ampadu and Tyler Roberts, will miss Sunday’s qualifier against Belarus in Russia due to visa issues.

Wales play in a friendly against Finland on Wednesday, followed by two World Cup qualifiers.

They lost their opening game of the World Cup qualifying campaign away to Belgium, but then beat the Czech Republic 1-0.
