Juventus has sent a special message of congratulations to Aaron Ramsey in the Welsh language.

The Italian giants told him “da iawn”, which means well done, following the Wales international’s 50th appearance for the club.

Midfielder Ramsey was praised for the role he played when Juventus beat AC Milan 3-1 at the San Siro on Wednesday, which ended the unbeaten run of the league leaders.

Juventus won the game thanks to a superb display from Federico Chiesa, who was on the scoresheet twice.

AC Milan scored thanks to Davide Calabria, but Weston McKennie made certain of victory with a strike from close range.

Following the match Juventus tweeted: “What a game to make your 50th ⚪️⚫️ appearance in! Da iawn, @aaronramsey #MilanJuve #FinoAllaFine #ForzaJuve”.

Juventus have won the past nine championships, however hopes of making it 10 have taken a big knock this season after a handful bad performances under new coach Andrea Pirlo.

Since moving from Arsenal in 2019 Ramsey has won the Scudetto with the Serie A champions.
