Anti-Brexit protestor Steve Bray disrupted the Welsh Conservative dinner following their conference in Newtown, Powys

The man from Port Talbot best known for chanting ‘stop Brexit’ on College Green outside Westminster managed to break into their function room. The Welsh Conservatives said that the police had been called.

He posted a video of himself online telling the Welsh Conservatives “Go Boris – definitely, go Boris.”

He was then escorted out of the building.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson had appeared on the conference stage that afternoon, using the occasion to announce that a new nuclear reactor would be coming to Trawsfynydd, Gwynedd.

“Today I can tell you that we’re looking to build another small modular reactor on the site at Trawsfynydd,” he said, describing it as “fantastic news”.

Speaking to the press later, he said that he was “very grateful” to the Met Police for the work they had done on the partygate investigation.

“I think that we would just need to wait for Sue Gray to report, and then as I’ve said – fingers crossed that will be very soon – I’ll be saying some more next week,” he added.

It is understood the Prime Minister and Ms Gray held at least one meeting to update on the report’s progress while it was being drafted, but that its contents were not discussed.

I doubt there is one person in that room Fat Shanks would lift a finger to help…

In his Titanic lifeboat there is only room for one and that is Johnson alone…

I wonder if the PM will thank Ms Gray quite so profusely as he did the Met…

Respect to the man from Port Talbot…

Every Tory voter in Wales was in that room and not even a queue at the bar, the conference was held in the telephone box outside

Wouldn’t have been so funny had he been wearing one of those single use waistcoats favoured by certain political extremists. It’s all well and good having a laff at the Tories – after all they do provide so many opportunities – but this poses an underlying security question. Commenters on here should reflect on whether invading any kind of “party event” is fair game.

“We” certainly didn’t. The origins of the “hide from the world” camp are well known.

Well done Steven Bray! I would have said more fruitier language to all those Anti-Wales Tory supporting antagonists who gather like pus in an abscess. And It makes me sick to witness how those bigoted blue rinse Conservatives happily sit there booing whilst filling their bloated faces like pigs at a trough as millions suffer fuel poverty and the working poor visit foodbanks. But I find like most fascists who scream democracy & free speech the only voice they prefer hear is their own with any rival opinion stifled using paid thugs in suites to manhandle and eject as done… Read more »
