Independent music website and magazine Klust launches new label imprint

Independent music website and magazine Klust has launched its new label imprint, Klust Music today, with a focus on releasing music from emerging Welsh electronic and dance-leaning artists.

The label’s first release comes from Wrexham-raised, Manchester-based producer IFAND, with ‘FIND ME’ which is out today.

Positioned as a tastemaker supporting new Welsh artists, Klust has launched the label following a series of well-received shows across Cardiff, Leeds, London and Birkenhead celebrating the release of the fourth edition of Klust Magazine.

The project is a creative collaboration between Klust and Sain’s new sister label Sain69 — building on a longstanding relationship that includes previous campaigns ‘Stafell Sbâr Sain: Klust’ and a co-curated stage at Green Man Festival 2025.

Founder Owain Williams shared: “Launching Klust Music feels like the natural next step for Klust. It brings together all the different elements of curation and promotion, and I’m looking forward to working with a few exciting new artists over the coming months.”

Taken from IFAND’s forthcoming bilingual EP, ‘FIND ME’ was written between North Wales and Manchester, and is shaped by themes of movement and change. The track was produced using analogue techniques and mastered at Sain Studios.

Reflecting on the conflicting feeling of finding solace in unfamiliar surroundings, IFAND — the pseudonym of Ifan Davies — says: “The track, and the EP as a whole, floats between night and day, moving from rural to urban. It draws on my first few years in Manchester and the stark contrast between the city’s busy symphony and the silent tension of the Welsh countryside.”

Founder Owain Williams says: “Launching the label feels like the natural next step for Klust, as it brings together all the different elements of curation and promotion.

“The link-up with IFAND happened quite organically. I reached out to him around this time last year having stumbled across his music on SoundCloud, and we’ve been quietly working together ever since. I’m excited for people to hear his music, he has a real unique style.”

He added: “Supporting new names has always been a big part of Klust, so I’m looking forward to working with a few exciting new artists over the coming months.”
