Mysterious Ed Sheeran artwork is projected onto Cardiff Castle
Mysterious artwork believed to be publicising the latest album and tour by Ed Sheeran has been projected onto Cardiff Castle overnight.
Whether it is to promote a tour with a show at Cardiff Castle or more like The Principality Stadium has yet to be clarified.
However, the artwork is taken from Sheeran’s new album ‘Equals’, while the numerical symbols are thought to be promoting a tour, given that they have appeared as part of the singer’s shirt sponsorship of his local football club, Ipswich Town.
A post from the @MyTicketUK Twitter account featuring four UK locations first started the rumour mill working overtime.

The other prominent UK monuments that featured the projected artwork included Marble Arch in London, The Angel of the North in Gateshead and the Gallery of Modern Art in Glasgow.
They are all locations that have stadiums that could feasibly host a show by the singer.
Sheeran’s new album is due for release on October 29.
