Cardiff Airport is set to launch special direct flights to Paris in time for Valentines Day.

Air France flights offer a seamless journey from Wales’ airport to the heart of the French capital this month.

Whether it’s a city break or a romantic Valentine’s escape, these special flights make Paris accessible in just under two hours, allowing more time to explore the city’s culture, cuisine, and iconic landmarks.

February brings fewer crowds and the city’s romantic atmosphere is at its peak, making it ideal for couples or anyone seeking a memorable getaway.

Visitors can take in iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre-Dame Cathedral, or immerse themselves in art at the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay.

Paris is also celebrated for its culinary excellence, from Michelin-starred restaurants to cosy bistros and neighbourhood cafés.

With Valentine’s Day falling during the flight period, couples can enjoy a romantic getaway filled with scenic walks, memorable dining, and cultural experiences.

The flight schedule is designed for short stays, making it easy to maximise time in Paris over a long weekend.

Flying direct from Cardiff removes the need for connections, making Paris more accessible for travellers across south Wales.

The flights are scheduled between 13 and 16 February 2026. Seats are available now via the Air France website and travel agents.

As these flights are limited-period, early booking is strongly recommended.

Jon Bridge, CEO of Cardiff Airport, said: “We’re delighted to offer direct flights to such a vibrant city for Valentine’s weekend.

“Cardiff Airport is expanding its reach, giving customers an easy, friendly travel experience and fantastic options.

“We’ve listened to passenger demand and are excited to make this opportunity possible, with more to come from Cardiff.”

Tickets are available now at airfrance.co.uk and through travel agents.
