David Beckham has suggested that his Inter Miami side could play against Wrexham AFC in the future.

The former Manchester United player brought up the possibility in a social media exchange with Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds.

The Deadpool start sent an Instagram message to Beckham thanking him for a pair of new sunglasses, and asked if Inter Miami would be up for a friendly with the Welsh side.

Beckham, who co-owns the Miami club, which plays in America’s MLS, replied with: “Where are we playing? Miami or Wrexham?”.

He has also received a personalised Wrexham AFC shirt which had the name Beckham on the back, as well as number 7.

He said: “Thank you very much. Loving personalised Wrexham shirt. Thank you very much man.”
