Father’s Day: Do you know Cerys, Rhys, Owain and Ffion?
A Leicester woman has shared a father’s day card – wrongly sent to her dad – which has a photo of a ‘random’ Welsh family instead of her and him.
In the tweet, Lauren Hollie, a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor, says: “Moonpig sent my dad the wrong father’s day card and now he has a photo of a random welsh family instead of me and him . . . excellent.”
Her tweet shows a picture of four taken at a beach, possibly and probably somewhere in Wales, with the words “Father’s Day” and “Dad” on the front and an uniquely-printed message on the inside saying: “Sul y Tadau hapus mwynha dy ddiwrnod” and with the following names: “Cerys, Rhys, Owain a Ffion” and four kisses.
Recipients
Another woman, Dani Jones, tweeted with a smiley face: “This happened to my mum with my stepdad’s birthday card last year . . . got a random photo of newly weds.”
The name of the game now is for the right cards to be sent to the right recipients.
But, in order for that to happen, Cerys, Rhys, Owain and Ffion, need to be found first.
In the mean time, the two dads are still waiting for their cards to arrive.
