Ospreys keep last eight dream alive

Ospreys kept their last-eight hopes alive with a 21-17 United Rugby Championship victory over Sharks.
The Welsh side came into the contest under pressure to pull out a result, with just four games remaining in the regular season.
Fly-half Dan Edwards was the standout, running in Ospreys’ first try in the 11th minute and kicking for another six points.
And it was those conversions that ultimately made the difference, after both sides finished with three tries apiece but Sharks twice failed to add the extras.
Sharks flanker Phepsi Buthelezi cancelled out Edwards’ opening try in the 19th minute before captain Jac Morgan crossed for Ospreys’ second, and it was 14-12 in their favour at half-time after Ethan Hooker added another for the visitors, converted successfully this time by Jean Smith.
Garyn Phillips extended Ospreys’ lead after the break before Buthelezi touched down for a second try with 11 minutes remaining.
