A prolific bike thief has been banned from 17 locations across Cardiff.
Following his recent conviction of multiple thefts of pedal cycle offences, Ryan Marquardt from Butetown was given a 26-week sentence suspended for 12 months.
The 29-year-old was also issued with a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court and must complete a drug rehabilitation requirement.

Why is our joke of a justice system giving this thief a suspended sentence? He will be stealing this weekend. If he has grassed up all the mugs who have no qualms buying stolen bikes off him than that may make some sense though it is highly unlikely he has done that.
