Watch: Ryan and Rob bring Hollywood to Wrexham in new video
Wrexham AFC have released a video documenting Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney on their four-day visit to the club.
The 12 minute video shows the duo the signing autographs and posing with delighted fans before exploring the ground for the first time, and topping up their Welsh.
While chatting to the players they assure them that they want to make sure that “this is all about you” before taking part in a training session, during which Reynolds declares “I’m wearing Paul Mullin’s underwear!”
Speaking on the Jonathan Ross show during the visit, Reynolds said that he “loves the town, the community and its history” and that the decision to buy Wrexham Football Club was “very unexpected, but one of the best things I’ve ever been involved with.
“As quickly as was humanly possible we wanted to dissolve whatever weird barrier there was between us and them.
“And that goes two ways. I’m in awe when I sit there and go ‘there’s Paul Mullin, there’s Aaron Hayden, there’s Jamie Reckord’.
“So I’m a little geeked out as well because I’ve been watching these guys from a YouTube feed from afar.
“For me, I was stuttering a little with them once I met them face-to-face.”
