Watch: The lovely moment Wales player gets engaged minutes after match

This is the lovely moment a Wales international player receives a marriage proposal at the end of the Wales v Canada women’s international.

Although the game at the Arms Park ended in a 24-7 defeat for Wales, it had still seen a spirited performance from a Welsh side against the world’s third best ranked side.

And there were certainly plenty of smiles when Wales centre Hannah Jones got engaged in front of her cheering team-mates minutes after the final whistle.

Being interviewed on the pitch after the game, 25-year-old Hannah, was taken by surprise when her boyfriend Llandovery RFC prop Dino Dallavalle popped up behind her to pop the question and ask her to marry him.

Thankfully she agreed, much to the delight of her new fiancé.

Writing on his Instagram Dallavalle said: “She said yes!! Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing and talented woman in Wales.”
